Kale Chips

Aunty came home from her Joy Luck Club one day and very excitedly told us she found a healthy chip recipe.

The main ingredient is kale. Yes Kale Chips! Before you attempt it, make sure you get the right Kale. There are many Kale type and you need the get the below type.


All you need is 
  • Oven
  • Olive Oil
  • Some salt (optional)



  • First tear leaves from stalk.
  • Wash, and drip dry. If you have a salad spinner, use it.
  • Pre-heat oven
  • Once dried, toss in olive oil and lay out onto baking tray.
  • Bake it 175 degrees C (fan force) for 15 minutes. 
It should be crispy but not burnt. Warning though, once started very hard to stop eating! Good for movie and mahjong sessions.
